| A Message for Boaters |

The U.S. Geological Survey and the Utah Department of Natural Resources/Division of Wildlife Resources have recently placed a research buoy in the open waters of the Great Salt Lake, approximately 7 miles west of the north end of Antelope Island. Due to near-surface anchor lines, please give the buoy a wide berth (300 feet) if boating in the area.  Read the pdf.
