EPA Approves Gilbert Bay Selenium Criterion PDF Print E-mail

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has completed its review and has approved the Gilbert Bay selenium criterion that was adopted by the Utah Water Quality Board. This criterion of 12.5mg of selenium per kg of dry weight in bird egg tissue is the first numeric criterion adopted for Great Salt Lake.
