The Utah Division of Forestry, Fire & State Lands (FFSL) is charged with sustainably managing Great Salt Lake as a public trust resource. The FFSL is currently revising the Great Salt Lake Comprehensive Management Plan. This plan dates from the year 2000 and needs to be updated to reflect current lake statistics, threats to the system, new scientific knowledge, and public concerns. FoGSL, together with many partner organizations, submitted comments.
